Due to it's exquisite beauty and unique look, marble is one of the most used marterials for countertops, especially for vanity tops in the master bedroom.

As a metamorphic rock marble is composed by recrystalized carbonate minerals from other rocks. The impurities of the original rocks give the resulting marble colored veins, waves, swirls and exotic variations that are priced by interior designers and homeowners.

On the other hand marble is softer than granite and engineered stones. This characteristic is a con to project the use of marble in kitchen counters, specially for a busy mom that uses the kitchen everyday because marble is not scratch, stain or chip resistant.
